aerial visitor

about 20 years ago I made a pastel study for a painting. it was a large very dark cube rising out of the earth into a blue sky. The dark cube contained a magical wood with green and magenta twinkling lights. i applied so much fixing spray that all the magic vanished into darkness.I never went on to paint this image which I remembered and dug out recently. Because it never came to completion I felt moved to do this current version. I had also been looking at ocean creatures...radiolaria sp ? I might even paint the first  one now !! Are you still there ?
